Media5-fone to offer Mobile VoIP to millions of Nokia users worldwide

Sherbrooke, QUEBEC, January 14, 2010 – Media5 Corporation, a leading developer of advanced Communications over IP products, services and developers solutions, today announced the launch of its new application, Media5-fone for Symbian-S60, now available for download on the Ovi Store by Nokia.

The Media5-fone for Symbian-S60 is part of a suite of SIP-based mobile VoIP (mVoIP) and Unified Communications softclient applications enabling end-users to make VoIP calls using their smartphone with any available WLAN and Packet Data (3G) networks. The Media5-fone’s enhanced features coupled with the latest smartphone devices from Nokia and their built-in network capabilities allow Service Providers and Enterprises to fully realize the business potential, communications efficiency and cost reduction of mobility and VoIP.

Media5-fone is available for download from the Ovi Store by Nokia at store.ovi.com for all Symbian S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 and 2 models including the Nokia N96 and Nokia E72. A Symbian-S60 5th Edition version will also be available in the first half of this year.
